This year’s competition featured five distinctive events, including “Sample Blind Inspection Accuracy,” “Process Parameter Optimization,” and “Fault Diagnosis and Troubleshooting.” In the automated production line fault diagnosis segment, participants were required to address six types of emergencies within 15 minutes, with both accuracy and response speed being evaluated, thoroughly testing the technical backbone’s emergency response capabilities and knowledge reserves. Ultimately, Zhang Qianqian from the Quality Inspection Department set a new record with a detection accuracy error of only 0.02 millimeters, while the process optimization solution developed by Li Qiang’s team from the Production Department is expected to reduce energy consumption by 12% annually.

Integration of Competition and Training to Cultivate Talent

The competition specifically introduced a “Mentor-Apprentice Pairing” mechanism, requiring each award-winning participant to guide two young employees in completing designated tasks. This “training through competition” model facilitates the rapid replication of advanced experience, with the results of the past three years’ competitions having been transformed into 23 process improvement proposals. The General Manager stated, “We are building a growth cycle of ‘competition-promotion-innovation,’ where award winners will directly enter the company’s high-potential talent pool.”
