1. Nature:
-1, 4-bis (2-hydroxyethoxy) benzene is a colorless liquid with the property of being soluble in water and organic solvents.
It has two hydroxyl and two ethoxy groups, which can form hydrogen bonds and van der Waals forces.
This compound is stable and not prone to decomposition or degradation.

Purpose

Polyurethane Industry (Core Application)
High-performance polyurethane elastomers
Chain extender/curing agent: It is used in cast polyurethane (CPU), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and polyurethane elastomer (PU) to enhance the mechanical strength, heat resistance, wear resistance and hydrolysis resistance of the materials.

Application field:

Industrial rollers, seals, tires, conveyor belts

High-performance shoe materials and sports equipment

Automotive parts (such as shock-absorbing pads, dust covers)

(2) Polyurethane adhesives & Coatings
Enhance bonding strength and chemical resistance, suitable for industries such as automobiles, construction, and electronic packaging.

Epoxy resin curing agent: Enhances the flexibility and impact resistance of epoxy resin.
